Work and play and dinner hosts...

With both teams finished with the houses, we prepare to work on and around the church. We got up at 8am (yeah!), had breakfast, and got ready to pick up the trash around the church and the park nearby. The day was hot, but a lot of goodwill was generated for the church.
We came in out of the sun for lunch, and after lunch had a time of prayer and worship. We had some free time for quiet time before we planned to go back to the park for some drama skits, etc. Plans were changed when one of the local families showed up two hours early to take us to their house for dinner. We did not want to disappoint our gracious hosts, so we cancelled our plans in the parks. That was a good idea as most of the dinner hosts showed up early to take us to their homes for dinner.

The dinners were all reported to be very good, if a little on the spicy side. It was a great time of fellowship, even if the guests and the hosts could not understand each other most of the time! We plan to go to bed early, since we have a full day tommorow with doing our ministry in the middle of Juarez and a trip to the Juarez market!
