Sunday was a busier day than Saturday!  I woke up in the morning and had a bad bad bad headache!  Which would later that day cause me to miss Sunday night service!
Our team split into four little groups to go to Sunday school.  When we first got there the eight of us were a little like “What are we supposed to do?”!  But soon we were playing with the kids and trying our best to speak Spanish!  Feeding lunch to the kids was a lot of fun to.  The rest of the day was not the best for me though (leaving out all the good details) because I became SICK!  In the end I stayed while the team went to Sunday night service which I heard was awesome!  I stayed with the amazing Nurse Molly Jackson and learned how to play the game speed! It has been an interesting start to this trip but none the less amazing and different!

Hola from Lima Peru,

Some of us got up at 2 am this morning to see the Lircay team off on their journey.  Not sure why we got up, crazy huh! Just kidding - We prayed with them, but before that we had to push start the 50 seat bus! What a sight.

Later that morning we split the team into four groups and visited the church's four different ministry sites and helped out with their Sunday school.  That was a lot of fun even though many of us don't speak any Spanish.  After class, we all gathered on the playground with all the kids and played soccer and duck duck goose.  Was a fun time.  I was amazed at how much the kids loved playing with us and how they hugged us so much.

Later that evening we went to their church which is held in one of the schools´ courtyard.  The weather was perfect.  The team got to do their dance and a couple of the skits.  They did such a good job!  Elliott Chin and Adrianna Romani got to share their testimonies - again awesome!  Mathew got to preach.

It was great worshipping with them. We got to sing the songs in Spanish.

We are very blessed to be here.
