     Hola my friends,

Today consisted of painting the basketball court at Santa Rosa, a near by church and it was surprisingly a lot of fun! The colors were beautiful shades of Blue Green and Yellow. It made the hole place glow. along with the courts looking wonderful our cloths looks amazing too! it 's amazing how much paint you get on you clothes(maybe the painting fights didn't help ;-) )after slaving we headed off to enjoy a delectable peruvian Fried race/chicken/and egg. It was WONDERFUL!!!!!!

We then continued to do another Vacation Bible School and it was wonderful to see all the joy the kids had. It is soo inspiring and uplifting! I just love how innocent and faith the have. We then continued to play and try and converse with the 4 words we know in Spanish. They are soo patient with us.

We are mucho tired, But find much joy and energy in worshiping and fellowship as we sing songs and discussing our any stories we had with the glorious Children.

Now a few have scattered to the local tienda and a few went staight for the pillows, as for me I am going to relish in the noises of the city!

Good night all! God is good

Tuesday started off the same as Yesterday in Lima. We all woke up for breakfest. This morning was somewhat different however. Everyone seemed excited to have another day of VBS.
We started off the work of the day by splitting up in two groups. My group went back to manuel corraero to finish painting the court. The other group went to another school where they did some serious painting all over the soccer field. My group was able to see it once we finished and the place looked almost new. We all felt very accomplished and the day was only half way done.
Once we finished with our painting jobs we headed off for another wonderful peruvian meal and then off to VBS. Today there were even more children than before. They all were so excited to see us again and all the ¨fan clubs¨ managed to find their ¨presidents¨fairly fast. The group in charge of VBS that day did an awsome job! Their theme was the wordles book. Each page in the book was simply a color and the book as a whole explained the gospel and Gods love for us. After the lesson Simon Johnson taught the kids a little song. The craft that day was bracelets that had beads of all the colors form the wordless book. The rest of the time for VBS was filled with the usual playtime for the kids. I had become a mode of transportation very fast and it seemed wherever I went there was a line of kids wanting to get a ride on my back. I didn´t really mind though. It was hard to say no to a bunch of kids that are so full of love. There were a couple of particuler kids that seemed to enjoy following me around throughout the day. One was a little boy that came to about my knee. He loved to be carried around and seemed to prefer me to be the one doing the carrying. Another was a girl that was around 12 to 13 who asked me to sing her the new songs we taught them in english. I find this a very effective way of making a connection since I would then have her sing it in spanish. Once VBS was over we said goodbye to our new friends realizing thaafter tomorrow we wouldn´t be able to see the anymore.
Once VBS ended we had dinner which as always was amazing. Have I mentioned how much I love the food in Peru? We then went back to the hotel and spent some time in Gods word and worshiping. As the day ended we could all continue to tell that there was something special about Peru. Our hearts just so easily went out to the people over these past few days. So here my blog is coming near an end. I will leave you all with a few little notes on some of my favourite things about Peru. We have all been well accepted by the people around here, I feel tall compared to back home, it has the team closer together, you can{t help but fall in love with Peru, did I mention I love their food?
